I was farming and hauled a 500 gallon water tank in the box of my 3/4 Chevy to tend the crop sprayer. I had done this successfully for quite some time. One morning, i was in a hurry and was stopped by a flagger in a construction zone. I waited 15 minutes before I was told to go. I gunned it and dumped the clutch. The strap broke and the plastic tank slid on the bedliner. It landed flat on the pavement. The pressure blew the valve right out of its threads. The workers were alarmed, but when i assured them it was just water, they laughed. Ten minutes later, that tank was empty. I loaded it, went back and tied it with a chain and refilled.

these stories are interesting, but very alarming.

we all need to be much more careful and to urge our friends to do the same. Lives are at risk.
