  1. Cool project. Give Nads and I some advance notice. We can show you around, to a few cool Hot Rod spots, in and around Orlando. 65 degrees here right now. :)

    Sounds great we will be living on ramada gateway in kissimee want to be there now so sick of the swedish weather here.....

    Made some welding and straightened the plate that i cut out from the trunk lid today first i think i would make a new plate but the old one gets really good with some hammering and welding so it will be smooth when welding it back in place

    Very cool. Have you worked out the latch? I worked mine with a simple pull chain from underneath.

    Yes i have installed a starter motor solenoid to pull the latch and its working really good! Will have a wire under the back seat as well to pull becuse on other cars i built sometimes the solenoid Burns and its really hard to get in the trunk.....

    Tested some dodge 1955 hubcaps today think it looks good gonna paint the rims red and put on new Firestone 6.70 15 insted of those g78 ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1423763093.816322.jpg

    The white dash looks great , and so does the relocated license plate. Little stuff makes a big difference. Keep up the good work.

    Finished the welding today on trunk lid and layed some modern lead :) sanding and surface painting it.

    Was the first i think of when i got i registerd here in Sweden and i'l got WFT on the plate haha :)

    Todays work was sanding baby smooth, gets really good! Next project is continuing on the hood and shave the trim and ornament before anything get any paint.

    The corners are rounded but I have to come back to the leading edge and make it match the profile of the Merc grill surround. I am using a chrome centre strip and bullnose for the centre.

    Something happend today made a teardown to make roof chop :) i Said earlier that i would wait til next winter to chop but i will do it now still have time until the summer is here!

    Mesured and taped it up for cuting today, welded reinforced irons inside car and in the back window then started cuting out the rear corners. Thank you Tomas "chopit" for all help with questions and pictures before first cut. More to come.
