Today we went to a car show not so far from home so took some pictures in the sun, i think im gonna look for some fox craft fenderskirts really like the look of them with the taildragging stance, the originals look kind of stock... Did some yard art outside the garage to with some old oil pans and model a parts:
Small update removed my mufflers today and build new exaust, had fine glasspacks on but mounted behind the gearbox so the right flathead sound dident apear. Now im running straight 2 inch dual pipes with fenton headers and nothing is better then the sound of a flathead with high comp offenhouser heads with straight pipes
Yesterday me and a friend went to a car show, he changed Engine in his car so i helped him the night before to get ready and after many hours it drove again!
Forgot to take a picture today but have had the gearbox out of the shoebox, i cant get my od to work took it all apart and everything look super good but the problem is it wont freewheel so the od can engage? All electrics work and when i pull out the od cable for lock out od a scraping sound hears and gets queit when i push in the cable for engage? So no freewheeling.... I have driven with this many miles now and the gearbox works well except the od so if i dont get the od to work i throw in a c4 auto trans in the winter i have change the rear differential to 3.54 so od is not necessary but i like when things works.
Great pictures in a great post. I really admire what is going on in Europe in hotrodding. Way to go guys.
Scored a new rear end today with welded mounts for k-link and airbags. I will service and rebuild it so its reddy for winter project.
Yes me to i think it turned out nice the bodywork isnt 100% and i first thinked to run her in black primer this summer but i think it look better with color.
Sving a beer o two ? NOW you have my attention ! ! I like your garage and the two rides. Except for that freaking snow, I wish I lived thousands of miles closer. Good luck with your builds.
Hey, Swede, your car turned out so sneaky, and by that I mean super. I like the subtleness of the chop so it doesn't look like someone went too far. At your height, the car looks like it will be very driveable, and that is what this whole thing is all about. Love the color, too. It just fits a shoebox so good. Good job, Bud. P.S. I love your American flag.
Thanks man! Yes the car is very driveable im a pretty tall guy 195 cm and im sitting good but i lowered the front seat a couple of inches too but if i had taken 5 inches out of the front then i had having problem seeing out and sitting ok.
Thanks man! Just did the best i could but the shoebox is a long way from finished so when summer is over projects continues! Planing more bodyworld and build kickup on the frame.
Planing on more bodywork this winter so will repaint when done. find an app for the phone were you could change color what you think?
Looks cool I would vote for the copper color nice to see you still making progress I have been busy on my 37 Plymouth as well. Please keep posting the updates Jim
Yes i like that cooper color to! The thruth is i actually have the shoebox for sale here in sweden now, if i sell it i intend to buy another shoebox and make it all over again and one more bike but thats another story, If i dont sell i will continue on this now in winter.
