No mention of motor. I just said looks like my 59 corvette suspension. We don't know what motor you have in it. Just sayin.
motor numbers come up as a 59 chevy or corvette plus my friend has a 59 corvette with that front end and another friend with a 57 chevy that has the rear end so thanks everybody for the help
Started doing the front suspension in the jeep and found out that early Chevy front ends switched to ball joints in the mid 50s but corvette kept The king pin set up to I believe 62 or 63. I also found 54 full size Chevy shocks have 1 bolt on top and 2 bolts on the bottom, and the corvettes shocks have 1 bolt on top and on the bottom. I ordered a rebuild kit from kanter for a 54 full size Chevy and had to return it and get get the corvette rebuild kit. Does anybody have any tips on putting this front end back together maybe torque specs for The control arm nutz? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
So it's an actual Corvette front end? That being the case, you could probably sell it to the high dollar Corvette restoration crowd for enough money to buy a regular car front end and the rebuild kit. Manuals with specs shouldn't be hard to come by, though.
Yes I am gonna say its corvette and who ever built this sedan delivery from cali did an awesome job. When I pulled the radiator out to replace it there was a tag on it from Monterey California ! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
