Customs What does this interior dome light lens fit ? 49 Merc ?

Hi
I just found this box of dome light lens that we made for someone 20 years ago and were not picked up !

I think they were for a 49 or 50 Merc but its been 20 years and I am not sure , The ones I see on google search seem close but without the Center raised "button" in the center,

it is a touch over 5 inches long not counting the tabs ,

Anyway if you know what it is and have a dome light chrome ring to test it on ,
I will send you one for FREE so I know it fits

It doesn't look like any '49 Mercury dome light I have ever seen. HRP

 

ummm thats what I thought it was , was there only one style ?

, were all the Mercs in those years the same ?

 

The '49 is the only one that I know anything about and the only reason I knew about it was I helped install the headliner and put the lens in when we finished. HRP
