If this is a rough, and meant to be a concept as to locations, car shape, etc, I think you're on to something. I don't like the lettering style, yet don't know what I'd suggest.

Maybe art decco on the lettering. No tire at all in the rear. Man, that is really low.

Change the curvature of the rear skirts to match the curve of the rear fender. Write the name of your company on the door of the car in a stylized manner reflective of KUSTOMS. Add rear wheels.

I'm not an artist, so I'll defer to the suggestions others have given. I think it needs a tag line to tell people what Bodylines, Inc. does.

I don't know Thomas, you may want to find a pic of another car to fit the lettering. ...that ones got some issues!! hahaha ;)

How about leaning the letters the same direction as everything else on the car? Not bad for 2 minutes. If you are serious about using it as a logo, be sure to see how the car image reads when it is shrunk down to business card size.

I think the drawing is too literal to use as a logo. I suggest simplifying and stylizing it so that it reads as a graphic element rather than a page from your scrapbook.

Look at the '36 Ford that Coby has in his Church shirts line. That's the direction I'm suggesting.

I think the car is too well defined, and therefore detracts from your message, which is your company name.

I would shoot for something more along the lines of the AMA/Prostar logo, where with just a few well-placed lines you see a dragbike and rider:

1shot, that's a great pic man! Thanks. I'd like to see one with hoodsides and no headers. As for what "Bodylines Inc" is...you guys will have to wait a little longer...

I've got a hamber helping me out right now also...so my cheap photoshop skills can stay hidden far far away....haha

PS. I'm actually Pro. It's the only thing I do for a living. Make sure your designer isn't a 16 year old kid. And if they say they're going to do it in photoshop, they don't know what they are doing!!!!!

no no....I DID IT IN PHOTOSHOP...haha not them. You're not the only PRO on the board. There's a lot of talent on here. but I will definately get with you if I find that a 16 year old is working on my stuff...

Much better, but my two cents. The font has to may thicks and thins in it, you cant read it at a distance. It just looks like blocks. The illustation on top is good. The only thing I can say bad about it is, it needs a little more weight in the rear, an area of heavy black to keep it grounded. Rule one of logos: it should only have one hook. Simpify the font for readability and stick with the Illustration.

PS. It's always easier to pick someone else's work apart than to do it yourself.
