What do you like about your car that upsets others

Funny how people with different tastes will bad mouth somebody elses car. What about your car, that you like, really pisses others off?

 

It doesn't have any guards on it

 

it depends.........some people bad mouth the 4 wheel disc's , the subframed front end , the "new" torque thrusts on it . some people bad mouth the lack of paint , lack of 20" billet wheels and lack of tweed bucket seats , but i say fuck'em all , its "my" truck , "my" style and "I" love it

I really enjoy pissing some people off that think I care, what they think. Maybe thats why, I am what pisses some people off, about my car.

I think this is a very interesting topic. I think we all would say "screw everyone", but let's give some serious answers.

When I say that I'm going to chop my Olds 4 inches, I get a lot of "why would you cut up a perfectly good car?".

 

Apparently, radials and red steelies.

not being painted, never gettign painted. Not being restored, thats big in my area, they liek restored cars not loud ones.

 

The fact that it isnt "environmentally friendly" and no one will confuse me with a tree hugging, sandal wearing hippie when I'm driving down the street.

the intake and carbs on my truck give some people fits. i hear how it wont work or it looks odd all the time. fact is it runs better than it ever has!

 

I ran with open headers for a few years. Seemed to really irritate other drivers. And the police that pulled me over.
But i think a lot of you will be on my side on this one...

The fact that its driven daily and i rub their nose in it daily...

 

I'm running a MOPAR rather then a Chevy.

 

The fact that it is a volkswagen but has a lot of traditional ford rod parts on it.

It's a T bucket.

 

The wheels and the rust (the combination). The truck as a whole seems to really get under peoples skin.

I like it though. It is fast, fun, affordable and I don't have to work about scratching the paint.

Dad wasn't paying attention to where he put the floor jack and the truck slipped off the jack and the rockers landed on a jackstand. It caved in the driverside rocker.....and you can't really tell. If it was a nice truck, I'd have been furious .

 

i got an opposite answer.i met a guy that just loved the cracks in my paint... he said it added "character". made me wonder if he likes ugly women with bad skin too, because of the added "character".

 

How low it is and that i need to make it higher.... stupid
