bro if I were you i`d pass on it, some 4 doors you can live with but this one i`d let someone else have. Use your cash and space for ?? good luck.

 

My Buddy Kev at Kev's Custom Paint turned a 57 four door chebby into a convertible elcamino style bike hauler... here it is on parade duty for his boys homecoming a few years ago... $300 car, two months in the shop.... something cool.

Does that year have a hemi in it?
Does it still have a hemi in it?
if the answer to the avove Q's is yes. buy it and take the hemi out part out the stuff that fits a 2 dr and, gallon of premium and a road flare to the rest..

 

Clean and drive it like my friend Susan does with hers....it's a four door, too.

 

Those are great cars...I love the 56's they had cool fins. Much nicer cars than them Chebbies. Some Dual exhaust, cleaning and you are ready to cruise.

Would you be havig the same dilema if it was a ford or chevy, olds, buick or pontiac? Is your problem the extra doors or the fact that itsa MOPAR.

Start driving it and it will grow on you. You may even make some new friends that will enjoy the easy access to the big comfy back seat.

 

Plym_46- not a mopar issue at all. I am a chevy guy, but my daily is a 54 savoy. I would say my biggest issue is the extra doors. Always though of them as parts cars. I will most likely clean this one up and off it. I go through alot of cars lol.

Finally found something.

 

I'm sorry, if I had that I would clean it up and drive the hell out of it. But then I'm not afraid of four doors, in fact I grew up with a bad ass sleeper 67 nova 4 door with dog dish hub caps and everything. Hell that's what I would do to that, it looks too good to be a parts car. If its not your thing pass it on to some one else.
