In 1962 while I was in the Navy, I had a 1954 Chevy 2 two door, it didn't look like yours OLD GOLD. You did some transforming on that one.Its one bad ass Chevy. Good job. Ralph

Metal Surgeon, You've top me on bringing home a pile of scrap metal that looks like it could possibly had been a car at one time. This one tops the list. Thanks to everyone for sharing their projects. I've truly enjoyed all of them. Ralph
It was a stock ,beat up no dash ,no engine or tranny Arizona truck out of a salvage yard. Did have a title, which has been a real blessing.
It looked just like this in the bushes and as we cut down most of it... (and that's the former owner since 1964)
Before :Feb 14 2011
After : July 26 2011 (Still have a long way to go)
Here's my slowly coming together 37 Chevy coupe. 1st when she came home, then blown apart to blast and epoxy prime to stop surface rust. Then back together cause I had to move across town. It's coming, not as fast as I'd like but she's mine all mine.
Bought the body (in pieces) in July '03. On the road (in primer) in March '05. Painted April '06. Interior finally finished October '06.
I took a before picture about two years ago, and unfortunately, today's picture would look basically the same.
I guess it's not as obvious which picture is before and which is after as I thought it would be.
Smitty, you by far had the best layout on your project of Before and After. Thanks to everyone for sharing your photos.I really enjoy all of them. Its interesting to see what we bring home and how good they turn out. I know everyone is proud of their finished results.
Here is our '28 roadster.
same exact way it looks now
Brought this home (to storage)Two weeks ago with a 39 parts shell
Here's mine at home in '07 and finished in '10
Rochie , your Before didn't look like a car either, a pile of parts. Your After looks good. Good job!!!! Anymore Befores and Afters out there????????????
My Fidy-Ate, immediately after it was delivered.. May 98
Present time.. waiting its turn to be finished!
The never starting project
A little rough
Awesome photos guys! Thanks for posting them. The before , the rebuild and after photos are amazing. Joe blow public sees our cars and say that is a nice old car having no clue most of them were rebuilt from a pile of junk,it takes total dedication to create what your dream car will look like when finished. When finished and driving down the highway it makes it all worth while.
before and still in progress!
Just last months pic. Just pulled in the driveway with this one. Pulled out of a draw. Just getting started. Maybe some day, I will have an after picture.
