Hot Rods What did your current Hot Rod look like when you started?

It's been along road so far, but the little Fiat is coming together.

 

Damned sweet.
Those Fiat sedan deliveries are rare as hens teeth. Hrudka ( Mr. Gasket) raced one in the early to mid '60s with a destroked 283.

Anyway damned sweet.

 

This is how it started!

 

I guess I have been living under a rock and as many hot rods I have seen in my life I don't recall seeing a Fiat Sedan Delivery. HRP

Mine looked a lot cleaner when it arrived at its new home. Now it's sitting on jack stands thru the winter months, covered in dust, waiting for the spring thaw so I can give it a good bath and drive the tires off of it.

Here is the only drag car version I have come across through web searches. Not sure if it the same one you are referring to? Reminds me of Willies Pie Wagon.

 

Nope he ran gas class until '65 with it that I know about and it was just like yours except red. He had the small displacement engine initially because of the small engine rule for imports.

There was a pic or two of it in the TRJ '65 Indy coverage a couple of years back.

'28 Reo. Got it with 3 doors and a caved in firewall.

 

Shortened it up a bit. Dirveable and almost done.
