sold my 84 Kenworth and step deck, a 52,000 pd Case Excavator 1280B , and Komatsu D65 crawler to buy a 1930 sedan project, a 1929 Ford roadster driver, and got a 2005 Duramax for the leftover change sure glad I sold that stuff last year, no market for much of anything now
Most reciently, I sold an '82 Olds 88 station wagon and scrapped a couple of cars to buy a '55 F100 I've been chasing for a decade and a half.
when I was 18 I sold the brown one for the red one... 2 years ago I sold the following red one ... for the silver one... then in Feb 2008, sold the silver one for this one: http://www.izitreality.com/CorkyNelson.htm The last sale was the hardest to do but has meant the most.
I aint ever selling my 69' Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, or my Gretsch Nashville! I sold this solid 1955 Dodge Coronet, complete with Red Ram Polyhead, and NO rust. To buy this rusted out 51 Buick, with the 320 cid inline 8. I also sold a 1972 Norton 750 Commando, complete with interstate tank to buy this... Turned out to be a Maaco restoration though... And now Also sold a TT500 yamaha motor to buy these! Now
Gave up my Harley for a 68 Firebird and traded that for my 55 Chev But I still have my Gibsons and my blackface Bassman and 2 Marshalls
Sold This To get this And turn it into this. Then built and sold this. To build, and then sell this. To get this and Kept this And am Now building this... In hopes to look something half as cool as this....
i didn't sell anything to get my topolino........but i am selling this to help push it's progress along.......... custom interior and nice peppered v-6, chrome hooker headers ect......
I bought these a few years back at pretty much the same time: I wanted to turn the big buick into a fire breathing sleeper, and tore the beautiful driver apart. But I ended up spending all my money and time on the Z28. So I just sold this: And I'm hoping to turn it into a 53'-56 F100 or something similar. I was hoping to have it today, but the one I looked at didn't work out. While the Electra still sits on jacks.... -Josh
I've been trying to sell a very nice 69 Dart to help pay for the 36 Ford coupe I recently bought. I've had many who want it but none have had the money or have car they need to sell. Needless to say the wife isn't too pleased with me. Once again!
I sold my '65 Impala then relocated my family (my entire life actually) to the central California coast. A year later I bought my '57 wagon. I miss my Impala sometimes, but I don't regret moving to the coast. I think it was a good trade... Plus I met a bunch of good guys from the HAMB when I moved.
I've said it before and I will say it again...you should never sell your guitars, bikes or guns......ever. Mike
I sold my rims and tires off my Scion xB, about 4 or 5 BullDog Skates decks and my '57 Triumph chopper project for my '64 Fairlane. It's cool...I can still drive the xB, I still have about 6 BDS riders and I'll either buy a FlyRite Triumph roller or get the '57 back from Crease. Right, Crease?!
