Thanks alot guys. I was really not sure about this. In my head it looked good, but I was not sure how it would turn out. After rolling it outside yesterday I am pleased with it.

Now there's no reason for anyone to chop a Hud and not get it right.

Very impressive photos step by step.

This is one for those into chopping to keep in their files for small steps I've seen missed or over looked in other chops......

    Top shelf work!

Perfect amount of chop, looks great!

  16. outstanding, not too much-looks real good.

  17. Wow, it really looks great. Hudsons don't need much to clean the lines up, and 1.5 inches is perfect on the coupe. I dig the way you kept the rear 1/4 window length, it would have looked a bit goofy if you had shortened it.

Outstanding work, I hope to see it in person someday!

Excellent work! It's just right now. Great job of retaining the quarter window shape too.
More isn't always better on chops. A 4" chop would have ruined the car.

Thank so much for documenting this chop, you made it look easy. I know it not that easy, I tried my hand at this on a '37 Olds coupe a few years ago. Needles to say it took A LOT longer than I expected.
These Hudson's are starting to grow on me, the new Merc. Ha Ha
    Super job, thanks again.

As perfect as it gets, the corners are a work of art in themselves, and are what so many others cheeze out on. Take a look at most chops, and it's the funky looking corners, and the slightly misaligned window openings that ruin the whole job. Awesome craftsmanship and excellent eye for detail dude...
