A 69 chevy impala; Like i said, i come from/grew up in a "GM family." And this is probably the main reason why i'm into chevy/other gm's.

i don't like to think about it, but i would like to "go out"/ "leave" in a chevy also----i think a suburban would be appropriate.

  2. '69 Charger.....black on black. Pop's traded his '67 Chevelle SS for it, then later sold the Charger for $1,500......still blames mom for it.

  3. Don't have a photo, but I came home (1948) in a 1937 tudor, humpback Ford, V-8 60 (that my dad said was the worst car he ever had). From then on he had Mopars!

'79 Chevy 4x4. Dad bored out a 400 to 406 with worked heads and headers. It was a nice truck, and was the only thing that would lul me to sleep when I was screaming with the colic. No turning back since.

I was born in '83. My parents brought me home in my dad's 1963 Nova 2 door hardtop. It was his daily driver for years. I drove it a ton when I was in high school. He sold it a couple years ago.

My dad wasn't sure, but probably a 1967 Ford Galaxy 500. It kills me when I hear him talk about all these cars he use to have before I was born or was too young to remember. I don't know what happened, but he lost the car bug somewhere along the way. It sucks because I would have loved to have grown up under the hood with my dad.

I think that it was a '55 Chevy 1st series pickup. Not sure.

  28. My dad's new 1 month old 1946 Plymouth coupe, maroon, big sun visor, bigger wide whites, split manifold with twice chrome pencil tips.
Funny thing was he worked for a Nash dealer.
He later replaced it with a shiny black 48 Nash coupe that he and mom drove baby brother home in.
All my 3 sisters rode home in Mercury's when he owned his own Lincoln, Mercury, Edsel dealership in the 50's and 60's.
My Wife and I drove our son home in a 68 Corvette roadster in the early 70's.
We thought we were the cool ones in the family!
For years the kid rode around in the empty convertible top well "horizontally" after I stored the rag-top in the attic and bolted on the hardtop.

    Me: a 1938 Nash 4-door. My wife: a 1935 Chevrolet Coupe

But my son went to the hospital to be born (!) in a 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce. He came home in a '72 Mercury Montego. The sedan's brakes didn't work when it came time to head for the maternity ward, and the Alfa's heater didn't work. We chose the Alfa, even though it was 19 degrees, a record low.
