Oct. 21, 1942: Mom brought me home in her (and Dad's) '37 Ford Tudor slant-back, V8 85, with Columbia 2-spd axle. (rode in that car many times, Dad used to bet other truckers that it would do 85 in second. They always scoffed, and he always won the bet.

I don't know about me, can't ask my mom, she's dead, but my daughter came home in my 1957 Chevy Belair in 1990, in a basket on the backseat. She was a preemie, only 4 lbs when they let her out after six weeks in an incubator. She's in college now, time flies.

Took my son home in an '84 RWD LeSabre coupe - my first lowering job and engine swap (307 Olds to 403) - Dec. 1996.

Mom says I came home in Dad's white '61 Falcon Tudor wagon -Dec. 1974.

Grandma tells me that Mom came home in Great-Grandpa's nearly new '58 348 Tripower Nomad - Oct. 1958.

The car I came home in is irrelevant. What IS relevant is that the '55 nomad that Big Jack Byers was painting(only thing left to paint was the tailgate)had to a complete stop because dad was still at work, and mom's water broke with me- remains primed but unpainted, to this day, since july of 1970. I've never wanted a nomad so bad. How poetic:p.
