Just got this speedometer in the mail today and was just curious what it came out of? I know it's ford due to the ford stamp on the back but curious what year etc...Only goes to 80 mph so we were thinkin a truck of some sort? Any thoughts?

That looks like an aftermarket speedo that was avail though SW's catalog

  3. FWIW, the trucks I drive (mostly Ford chassis, some GM) have round speedos like that, a few read that high, but I've seen at least one that only went to 55 mph.
The one you have is pre-about 1980, owing to the lack of marking for KMH.

It appears to be pretty old and it has a Ford stamp on the back so I was thinking it was a factory speedo, anyone else?

Are there any numbers or letters stamped on the back?

This thing may be newer than I originally thought but that's fine. I got it dirt cheap and it goes well in the truck but here are the numbers and stuff...

That's a part number, so anyone with a catalog can close the case if you can provide the unclear numbers...I think I see a D0 at the beginning, which would mean introduced in 1970.

It's out of a Ford LN series truck, from about 1969 to 1980 or so.
