All of this is invalid since the Cozy Coupe was not released until 1979, which would make it completely off topic and unacceptable on this forum.....
I would build it "Traditional" style, I know there will a lot of feedback about cutting up such a perfect unrestored example, but what the heck.
My Grandson Jason is very knowledgeable in engine swaps and performance upgrades to the Cozy Coupe. Here he is swapping a blower motor into an OT ride.
you'll probably have more luck looking in a RHD country. unfortunately I dragged my sons off to the tip... he left it sitting in the driveway so long and hadn't touched it with a spanner. that being said it was really only a parts car as we turned it into a cosy vert without adding bracing and being a unibody it had sagged fairly badly at the door sill. back then they were a dime a dozen, every second house had one in the yard, if I knew people would be chasing them like they are now I would have grabbed as many as possible and retired on the profit.
Who knew they had a larger version and its even offered in right hand drive... Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
I hate to be "that guy" but please sale that cozy coupe to a restorer before cutting it up. It's rare you find a complete one and if you want a gasser buy basket case. They are only original once...... Damn hotrodders
