may have posted before-CRS you know. In 59-60 drove a 57 Pontiac Star Chief 2 dr ht-lowered with Olds Fiestas off my folks 57 Olds Station wagon, Lancer caps or 57 Plymouth caps (switched around). Car payment was $75 month--had to drive tractor and relief milk to make the licks while going to school.

I drove a 40 Ford coupe. I had 2 classmates that I gave rides to and from school, they chipped in 50 cents each for gas every day so by time Friday night came I had enough gas for cruising

Drove my 1949 Fleetline my senior year(2000). It was bone stock except for some speed parts on the 216 and the really old flame job. I look it apart in 2001 for some upgrades and it is still sitting in the barn, waiting patiently to see the road again.

My prom date tore her gown trying to get in it, and over the roll cage bar. She said I should have got a limo, and not be such a cheap S.O.B. GOOD TIMES!!!

1956 Fairlane. It wasn't my first choice but its what we could afford. I really loved that old car. Sold it when Uncle Sam wanted my services in a warmer climate.

In 1967-68 I drove a 1963 Valiant Signet 200 and a 1962 Austin Mini 850. Sold the Mini in 68 to buy engagement ring for girlfriend(wife). Drove the Valiant away from our wedding. 45 years later and I still have the wife. We have a Valiant like our first one and I've owned many Minis since selling the first one. Still own a 67 race Mini. And I don't regret selling the first one!

I was a senior in 1981. I had a 1962 dodge 1/2 ton shortbox in primer, chrome reverse wheels and a 1967 pontiac 400 motor. It suprised a lot of so called fast cars.

  24. I had two in 1982, my 68 GTO (which I still have!) and my 74 V8 Vega I built during my senior year. It survived through 5 years of college and one year after until I sold it.

    A 1966 Chevelle convertible, 454 LS6 crate engine, M-20 4speed, 12-bolt posi. The best time I ever managed was a 12.01 up at 75&80 Drag-A-Way in Ijamsville, Maryland.

Spent many a summer evening just cruising the back roads with my girlfriend, top down, radio blasting. The summers of '85 and '86 were very good to me.
