What cool car did you own in your Senior Year of high school?

Well I didn't have any money so I had a Granada..uugh. Still had a hot girlfriend though

I drove a highly modified 1969 RS/Z28,
Just finishing up another one and will be having fun in it soon.

 

I had a 1966 Chevy Belair station wagon. I got the most ugliest car award too but I toke my fathers 57 chevy belair 4 door sedan to prom that year. Class of 09.

 

We do this at least once a year whether we need to or not. I still had the baddest car on the block. I always have had and always will have. milner had nuthin' on me.

 

47 Merc, 29 Abone (nailhead), 51 Ford ragtop (331 Cad), 54 Merc Sun Valley, 31 A pickup (Hemi), 54 Stude (sbc), 56 Chev BA (stock), 40 Ford coupe (hotted flattie), 50 Olds 2dr fastback (324), 50 Ford 2dr (331 Hemi), 57 Chev convert (stock), 57 Vette, then I graduated and bought a 48 MG TC for college (what a dumb move - RH steering and no power).

Class of "72" 1959 Karmann Ghia and a 63 Corvette roadster. I rolled the Vette the following year and parted it out. Oh Well.............

 

Class of 98 drove a 1986 monte carlo ss. Totally o/t but I had a lot of fun in that car. Last I heard it was a dedicated drag car.

 

Senior year? First part of the year was the '55 Olds in the background. Then I bought the '57 and my Mom took the Olds. (Shoulda kept both of 'em.)

 

I had a 1972 Chevelle. Green and a bench seat but it had a great 350 in it and it ran like stink.

 

67 Camaro with a 327 4 speed Pale yellow with Cragars and Dunlops. Man the older I get the better I was.

 

Class 1964 1949 Ford Coupe 2 dueces,duals and 3 on the floor . I was stylin.

 

class of 91. had a 72 C/10 short bed that i bought with my own cash at 16, I painted it and did the pro/street to it before graduation. Still own it today and shes still looking good!

'66 Chevelle, 283 with a power slide, my beater (drinking car!!!!). My main ride was a '69 Chevelle SS, 396 w/M-21. Man, I miss both of those cars.

1977 Camaro-Blue with Crager SS. Built 350. Never lost a race. Fastest car in town...........small town.....very small.

 

1975......I drove a orange and black 69 roadrunner ,air grabber ,440 4 speed and lots of tickets

 

1960 panel. I had a lot of fun in that van.

 

67 cougar. 289, c4.

 

I had use of my dad's '70 Pontiac Gran Prix with a 400 and 4-speed. Wish I knew where it was now.

 

71 Nova SS with a 396, muncie, 4.10 12 bolt. (class of '77)

 

'56 Olds 88 2 door sedan. No pics, too long ago.

 

57 Chevy Sedan Delivery, 327, 4 speed, G60-15 Sonic Maxiam tires on the back, ET Wheels. Big speakers in the back with Led Zeplin playing loud. Class of 74 Arkansas City High School

 

It was not the fastest on the nicest . But it was nice. It was a 1957 Chevy Bel Air baby blue 2dr. hardtop with a white roof. 283 powerglide with glasspacks. Black wheels ,babymoons and trim rings. This was in 1965. I pumped gas after school and saved up $250 to buy it.

It looked like this except for the wheels.

 

Class of 76. Driver: 67 VW bus...w/ curtains...no rear seats. Called it my __ck-truck. Also, 36 Chevy pickup project in the garage....never did it justice...wish I had it back.

The only cars I had in high school were from AMT, Revell and Monogram...
