I am working on a buddies old willy's jeep and this column is in it. It is a tilt telescoping unit. To adjust the telescoping you turn where the horn button would normally be. I need to know what year and make it is, so I can wire up signals. Any help would be appreciated.

What does the turn signal switch connector look like? The tilt lever almost looks Chrysler like...but they did use Saginaw (GM) tilt-tele columns

Anyways, if you show us the connector, we can probably help you figure it out.

Started in 65... In Corvair and Corvette according to this commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X5m4emm0OM But I know for a fact that GM made that column well into the 90's, with minor changes. The way I know this is they put them in 91 Series Case Tractors, and that's what my teardown manual is for, a column in one of those...

So its looking like mid 60 GM possibly. Biggest problem is there is no connector on it. They direct spliced it in place. Wire color should be fairly easy to track down. Thanks for the input.
