What color should I paint my wheels?

    Don't touch the roof, looks good as is. Gold, copper, bronze, or black for the wheels. Clean car btw.

    a light ford gray, high gloss would look good, tractor gray.

  7. Was looking at a black coupe the other day and it had gray wheels. It looke good that way.

    Don't know what color your car is but body color is traditional. I like gold metalic wheels also.

    Seriously. Brown would rule!!!! Like a rootbeer brown metallic or a deep brown almost very deep maroon non metallic.

    I wasn't around back then, but I can tell you that my 49 Plymouth has red wheels on it that where oxidized exactly like the rest of the car's paint. Dunno if the came from the factory like that, but I know prior to me buying it she hadn't been doing anything but sitting in a barn since at least the early 80's...
    Who gives a shit what's cliche' or trite? I don't mind red wheels (or flat black for that matter) as long as it's not on an 85 s10 or something like that.
    Build your own car, and who cares what anyone else thinks.
    Black and red go together great, if you don't think so then blame it on your opinion of the contrast, not because all the rat rodders" are doing it.
    I see frenched everything on mini-trucks these days, so should the kemp guys stop doing it?
