This is how my wife's truck looked last year. My buddies in the process of priming and blocking her down... What color do you all think would look good on her now.. Tired of the Black Primer. maybe a flattened ??? Spoons
For some reason I am really into glossy white and high shine chrome right now. Looks simple and classy. But if you are looking to go flat, maybe a flat navy. Be sure to post a pic when its coated.
2002 ford code FL it is a heavy pearl that looks like candy red and do any thing white in pearl white
dark blue like that of tooling dye in machine shops almost a black where it looks blue straight on and in the curves it is almost black would look bitchin.
I like that gray that was on those trucks when they were new. But, ever since I read Jackalope's green I can't get the green idea out of my head. check out James Hetfields' green 52 Olds in #29 Rodders Journal. Have fun,Smokey
Women can't make up their minds on what they want to eat, let alone pick a color...LOL If it was up to her, it would be black again............. Spoons
I saw one of these in Marble Falls that was an off-white, kind of the color of coffee with a lot of milk in it. It had red or reddish-orange wheels and pin striping. Pretty tasty. Chrome grille on yours, and wow.
Fake custom gas station truck. Cream or other neutral color primarily, possibly with a hint of pearl. Roof, all 4 fenders, hood ridge, and the tailgate logo in a contrasting color of her choice, but heavy flake. Fake logo on the doors. Lots of pinstripe.
Have her surf the HAMB, and the rest of the web, and find a colour she likes. You all have good ideas so far. If she leaves it truly up to you, paint it dull red primer, and put Sanford and Son on the doors!
Mustard yellow with black grille and wheels with whitewalls and stock caps, sounds terrible, but i have seen it on one of these trucks and it looks absolutly amazing.
Creme looks good now, I am partial to orange, it goes with anything, but UPS brown works for me with some black wheels and tires.
If it's good enough for a Hemi Challenger, it's good enough for a truck. And it's a standard Chrysler color....PANTHER PINK!
Spoons, I like it the way it is, but if you are changing it, I agree with Cody1958...a real dark navy would look great with the interior, your whites, white grill and chrome wheels. Ebert
I found these guys this morning: http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorlibrary/ They have paint chips you can look at online from the early 1900s up, including scanned in paint chip books 100 or more years old! If you can find your chip, they can make mix the paint - even un Urethane base/clear! Passin' it on, ~Jason
It's her truck, let her pick the color. Look at it this way- If you pick the color of her truck, does she get to pick the color of YOUR car(s)?
