I like flat so much better than gloss, that blue is awesome. I don't care if flat paint is "traditional" or not, I dig it!
I also have exactly the same picture saved because I love that satin blue color. I'm curious to know what it is also.
You can gain the same results using House Of Kolor PBC series (pearl base coat) utilizing PPG Flex-n-Flat as the clear coat. Whe done the pearl makes the surface look as though it is anodized. You have to stay on top of it as it'll water spot easily, I just use a spray bottle of water for a quick clean up.
[QUOTE jcmarz COLOR="Blue" ____________________________________________ NO don't think so. I think it's '' BLUE '' ____________________________________________ '' Real hot rods don' t have fenders "
^^^^ Just caught this.....Story is-car has been painted for 8 years, and has been up and down Cali,so it's been around. "quote" I went to the paint store and started looking....Found this chip/color,and went with it. and the winner is.....(gasp) a honda color. No chip number/code. All we could determine that it has to be 2k4 or slightly older. it has held up great, and just something you have to see to really get the effect. Wish I had some numbers to share, but that's all i could come up with, but,it's a start.
I work for Honda Performance Development - e mail me with your e mail and any information you have and I'll look for the code at work. [email protected] Poverty leaves an impression
A good paint shop can mix you up the identical colour,,,just bring in the picture. If it's a Flatz no doubt he shot some clear on it..
I think it is possibly 2001 Honda Prelude Electron Blue Pearl paint sorry for the pic of the riceracer Andy
