This may be kinda cool... I'm guessin' other cars have influence on your current project. Post up a pic of your project and the car that has made the biggest impression on your build.

For me it's Allstarderrick's sedan. Although I'm not runnin' a deuce frame or wire wheels, the simple look of hood sides with no hood top made me say "Yeah, that's cool, I gotta do that!"

  2. more a plane then a car or truck.. the p-51 mustang with the teeth on the front.. did it on an O/T something rather and it came out like poo... now I think I've got it.. we shall see when it makes it off virtual paper and into real life..

I've definitely been inspired by other peoples builds and I'm glad that I can influence someone elses with mine. Car looks good, keep me updated.

There are several that have inspired me and all for different reasons. I'd have to say that Oz's 46 Cadi convert is right at the top of the list. I never get tired of looking at that one. Also a project Gambino Kustoms started a while back. If my car ends up somewhere in the Middle I'm happy.

    This one.
I'm not into clones so I did it my way- borrowing from several builds.

Spence Murray's Dream Truck was a start. It'll be all mine but I was influenced by the truck in my early teens. That was a while ago. There's several 61 Chevy bubbletop builds that I like and certain design influences from each of them may find their way into it. I plan to mix a little bit of the Bellflower style, a tip of my hat to the lowriders, and the rest from my mixed up imagination.

I'm looking at something like Royal Shifter's T- modified. I've been hacking on my modified for a few years now, it's almost time to blow it apart for paint , then I can get on with the body. I've got Royal Schifter's modified on my desk top and I see it every time I sit down to get online.

Cool idea for a thread. A couple of mine are Norwell's Diamond Deuce and Littleman's A pickup.

The Rod and Custom Dream Truck has always been an influence on my 48 even though I have never considered making a lookalike out of it.

  21. Since the mockup picture was taken, I've chopped the top and gotten the Hemi rebuilt.

No particular car but an article Baskerville wrote about the details of how a hotrod should look.

The first five were huge influences on my panel, attachment six. I don't know if the people that built them will ever get to read this thread, but if they do, thanks a million guys.
