That is one cool ride. Love the six. I've got a six fetish myself
Mockie what is the motor in your avatar?
I just looked closer , and just figered out that theres a duel carb on it and not some odd
looking exhaust (du)
Those rear wheels are just wrong, what were you thinking?
Looking good ! Can't wait to see it Go !
super rare 376 GMC only produced in Hawaii. My grandpas friend's uncle yanked it from a car Elvis had then gave it to gramps. He had it in an an early Harley for awhile then let it set in his barn for the last 34 years. I'm thinkin about getting rid of it though, takes up too much space.
hmm... looks like a plain ole 216 with Edmunds intake and Fentons to me..
"not that there is anything wrong with that"
why would they produce a "only 376 for Hawaii" Like Paul said, looks like a 235,216 with some goodies.. Hey Paul, we fixed the Nomad ! stupid Carb kits they supply(plastic crap !) accelerator pump, came a part .
I think that's what they call a joke fellas....
For the pineapple trucks!
god damn even lookn better..
sorry guys, was goin for a joke. Its a 235. Don't let the 2 bolt valve cover fool ya.
A 376 crank will drop right in!
My cousin has a good friend that knows a guy in Honolulu that has NOS ones.
'tonneau'. ( from french- 'cask'; ryhmes w/ 'Johnno'). The cover over the body top, yes?
Car looks real good fellas.
Wow ,french pineapples crank shafts (DUH)
Did I get all of that wright?
You can't french pineappletons. They gotta be able to swivel. Unless they're like, dummy pineappletons.
(I've edited this post about 5 times to keep it mostly clean.) Let's just say the quote above made me think of a kissing technique... ... and wonder why you can't...
I like the dual Magnetos, nice touch.
Looks good man
I'm still looking for a good 302-270 crank, some one here in Washington has to have one
Subscribe! Great craftsmanship
A 292 Chevy crank won't fit will it?
I will ask my buddy dave when I stop in at his shop today if he has a line on one.
The must have some big pineapples at Dole ! LOL
that thing is amazing for 800
A 292 crank will not fit.
$800 was what we started with ,we have spent a little more than that now, most of the parts were stuff we all had laying around.
CG let me know if your buddy has a crank thanks
We put in the rear bar and worked on the cover some more this week, built the top tank for the radiator and spent a ton of time trying to figer out were to put all the little stuff like the fuel shut off ,batt, chute pull, gauges, shifter and mag switch ,what a pain , because you need to get to all of them safely while your seat belted in up side down on fire ,, hope that dont happen but if it does you need to get to that stuff.
Were almost ready to take it apart for paint and crome.
We got the coupler last week and built the coupler cover,we also got the seat belt
mounts done ,the tonneau cover and windshield done
