I’m using the bullet style guide lights off a ‘56 Dodge power wagon for brake lights on the ‘29. The lenses are clear n I found this one at Turlock that fits perfectly, but only one. Asking around I was told possibly off a Pontiac. Any ideas? Or I could just stop lookin n color the clear ones red Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I haven't got one to measure, but looks very much like the lense of a 39 Chev coupe (maybe not as much dome tho) that I owned a few years ago, ..
It looks to me like the center brake light lense from a 1941 Plymouth Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I think your right. Did some checking n they sure look like it, just need to confirm the measurements are right. That also may explain why there was only one on the table. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I just measured the 41 Plymouth taillight asembly I have, I removed the sheetmetal cover exposing the lens but it was held fast to the rubber gasket so I couldn't remove it but the glass was 2&1/2 across by 1&1/8th in height.......dunno if this helps......the glass also has "AZ" cast into the outside of the lens........I had a 41 Coupe but sold it tho' I had a spare taillight .........andyd.
That is one way to get into the flea market business. Just keep on buying those single lenses hoping to find a pair!
