I got a call from a friend Saturday to let me know that Gloria Barr past away after a very short battle with cancer. I met Gloria 20 years ago when I was a member of the San Jose Classic Chevy Club. Later I moved on to the Nor Cal Chevy/GMC Truck Club and Gloria and her late husband Steve were very active members. All along Gloria was a member of The Outcasts. She always had an easy smile and a great laugh whenever you saw her. I just heard a week and a half ago @ The Boston Market Wednesday car show that she was in the hospital and scheduled to start kemo. Her companion of the last few years, Bruce, said she wasn't ready to see visitors, and then BOOM, she's gone. GODAMNIT! It's not fair, she had so many things she wanted to do....... It's always hard when one of our own(car nuts) goes away. RIP Gloria. Prayers for her and the family.
