Hello paint guys, my question is can you or should you wet sand feather fill G2 primer? On many post on the internet some say yes some say no. What has been your experience.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, dry sand. IF you had a good barrier coat of epoxy or something between the metal and Fiberfill you might get away with it but as said before polyester is too porius and the metal under will start to rust. Remember seeing chunks of bondo fall off a car with a nice coat of rust under? Common problem back when wet sanding lacquer primer (also porius) over bondo was the normal procedure.
That said, I'm off to dry block the Fiberfill on my Vicky today, such fun!

Maybe I need another cup of coffee first, Featherfill, not fiberfill.

Dry sand only and obviously you should wear some type of mask...Don't let ANY moisture near it after you cut it with sand paper......voice of hard lessons learned ,lol
