John.....Mailed mine in last week, we have resvervations i made last year when i left at the Santa Maria Inn........really looking forward to it. We will be leaving butt crack of dawn Thursday morn.......staying untill Monday Morning. Since 32gal won last year there i am taking the Coupe with the "new look".

I loved Paso but Santa Maria is kicking ass!! I only wish it were a little further from L.A., the ride is too short. PB's are rolling in force. See ya in May. Big Eddie

 

can't wait. never made it to paso show but i plan to not miss a sm show. ( lived there for 28 years) can't wait to see how the cruise is going to be. in the '70's and '80's we cruised from jack in the box to taco bell every friday and saturday night.

 

Does anyone know the cruise route yet?

 

haven't been since the show left Paso. Maybe I'll try and make it this year

Santa Maria and Ink & Iron are by FAR my favorite two shows to make sure and attend. I will be there for sure.

 

I'll be there again with the Mad. I'm staying at the Radisison this year. Last year I stayed at the "Holiday Hotel" near the Santa Maria Inn on Broadway. What a dump. AVOID this place to the max. It's a filthy dive. I did notice the hotel prices in town are jacking up again.

 

There are is alot of flee bags in SM, so be careful. I live real close to the Radisson and its a nice place, there's also a couple nice newer places (Fairfield Marriott, Candlewood suites, Holiday Inn)on N. Broadway right off the 101. Hint...If it smells like curry, don't stay there.

 

Agreed about the trashy hotels in Santa Maria. There are still rooms at Fairfield and Marriot. It is a holiday weekend and the hotels do get booked , find one you like and reserve it for the next year

Taking my coupe, got my confirmation in the mail yesterday. Ive been both years so far and really looking forward to this year. 32gal and I had a blast last year.We have resv at the Santa Maria Inn..........

I'm going to try to make it, either in the '52 if I can get it back on the road or the '59 if I can get the tired 235 swapped out. (Worst case is rolling up in our OT Honda).

I sure hope it happens! It's the wife's b-day on the 26th and she wants to go..
