I have one, termites haven't got a hold of it and it should be running by next spring. But that's only one.

Here's my 30 chevy roadster that's in the works. Hope to someday hit the roundup with it. Looking for some E&J's to put on it if anybody has any they're not gonna use.

  12. Thanks.
My dad's first hot Rod was a 33 chevy Coupe with a souped up straight six. It would run with most of the flatheads. He traded a trumpet for it! It got hit 3 times on the street in front of his house in Glendale and he got more money each time then the car was worth! Eventually it was such a mess he scrapped it. That would have been about 1948 when no one wanted an old Chevy.

  13. termites got my 31 sedan wood, I got the rest waiting to re-do

Here's the baddest Chevy I've ever seen.....currently being built by Jim Sibley.

  20. They are still out there, just more "challenging" to build than other brands. The coach is mine(started before I was cured of billetitis),the pickup(from a sedan)is my nephew's.It is slated for Caddy Flathead power.

  26. Thanks for posting this, it's the exact car I was thinking of when I read the thread title.... badass!

  27. What some of these guys have hinted at is the early 30's Chevs had a wooden inner structure and only a steel outer shell. So these cars had A LOT of wood in them that just rotted away leaving a rusted pile of sheet metal.
