Went by a friend's shop... took some random pics

    Coupla motors outside... POS Y-Block, 322 Buick with big tranny, Flattie with headers out of a '49 coupe with a bunch of Crestliner stuff on it, 331 Cad with Hydramatic.

    W block with 6 deuces always looks good. :) I like how he uses '52-4 Olds valvecovers to keep dust outta the carbs and to hold misc bolts. haha

    That's like the first time I saw Bass's shop. It was like being in a museum. I got such a kick out of it.

    I love the stripping on the dashes, very subtle and elegant, adds a lot of class like pinstriping should. Tons of cool stuff though, wish i had that kind of pile of parts.

    That's ol Frank Palmer's handy work. Been pinstriping since '59 or '60 if I remember right.

    Just messin... they're really not bad at all, my friend had a 239 that we couldn't kill and ran like a top, but they shy in comparison to a Caddy. :D

    Oh you were scaring me there i have one in my 55 ford a 292 y-block it seems ok....

    I stopped by a neighbors house earlier in the week. he was putting a 3x2 y-block in a 32 5 window he just found. Looks really good.
