I'm happy for ya Sam the car looks sweet! Sean did a great job. See ya in June
I took this pic yesterday, I think its the best total side profile pic I have of it........ I'm really pleased with it. Now to sell my sombreros and buy 53's!!!!
I just want to know why John hasn't shot her yet... who cares thats he's in Az!!!
No pics until she is finished brutha........
looks hella tits broski
Are the sides of the back bumper lengthened? There's really nothing I don't like about this car. I'd love to see some interior pics.
Thanks, The bumper was pie cut and shortend about 4" total. I wanted it to fit nice & tight on the body I have the seats done right now & the door panels & getting the same treatment as we speak..... Real "Tuck & Roll" simple black. I never wanted a wild Kustom, something nice and classy. I have named her "Lone Star Delight" I will post up some pics of the interior very soon.
"Lone Star Delight", I like that name!
From Merriam Webster:
: a high degree of gratification : joy; also : extreme satisfaction
: something that gives great pleasure <her performance was a delight>
archaic : the power of affording pleasure
Thanks man! Pretty much sums it up all the way!
Damn came out real nice man sweet ride
I had to wash & air up the tires yesterday so I too the skirts off....... I gotta say, it looks completely different with the skirts off. to me it looses that classy look I am going for, what do you guys think?
Wow. Looks killer!
I love it both ways.
Looks soooo cool!
Looks like it turned out very nice
P.S. please keep the skirts. It fits the overall look of your car better. Just my useless .02
I agree 100%, my 53 Caddy Caps should be here next week too! I just can't believe how much longer/sleeker it looks with the skirts......
interior? I know the seat are BA but what are the plans on the inside...
Keep the skirts!!! And I can't wait until you replace the 57 Caddy's with the 53's.. it will look sooo much better
I couldn't agree more, John is hands down the best photographer out there...period. Not to mention one heck of a nice guy.
"A year later & this is what he & his amazing group of employees came up with"
That's actually a quick turnaround for the amount of work. I know Sean and crew pretty well. I don't know if I would call the crew amazing though. Ha Ha. The finished product looks really, really nice and yes, Sean and Greg are awesome welders.
She will be back at his shop hopefully by the end of the year to finish her up.
Oh, see, that's not fair. You did the classic "Lose 20lbs in a week" photo shoot.
You shot the no skirts pic from a crap angle in crap light and then "POW" a shot with the skirts on with strong contrast, bling and dramatic camera angle. The poor girl didn't have a chance...and neither did the viewing public....."Oh, oh, it has to have skirts. See how much better it looks with skirts".
Well, I'm not buying it! Take another pic without the skirts, and this time give it some love.
I like it both ways.
Haha! I'll shoot another pic asap!
nahhhhhhhhhhh you gotta keep the skirts! and im usually against skirts!
Perfect, taillights look great!
So I got my 53 caps in & I am currently working on getting them all finished up but I could not help myself so I borrowed one from my buddy Neil! I dig it big time! Can't wait to finish them all up, I think they look awesome..... you?
The car is KILLER! I was first planning to go with packard taillights on my -51 chevy, but went with shoebox quarter pieces and lights instead. You make me regret my choise when i see this...
What skirts is that in the first before picture?
485729464735 times better
I had the original skirts extended to flow with the bottom body line..... Thanks for the compliment!
