I'm throwing stuff out, and I've got a spindle and rotor, bearings, etc (some truck) and realized you could maybe use it to make a merry go round for the kids. Can I weld to a rotor? Probably a dumb question, just don't want anything weird happening.

    It's probabaly cast iron.
    Possible but difficult.
Why not bolt a wheel onto it and weld onto the wheel?

Don't weld om it. Make a plate that fits the bolt pattern and weld to it.TP
