even with the rain we had an awesome time saw some awesome cars! not sure if we just missed them this year but, I remember getting a card with next years date on it last year. Did they announce next years dates?

1648 Miles each way. We had a great time!!! It was worth the long tow. What an awesome event! Thanks to all that made it possible. Here is Nick Smith's "No Quarter" Henry J Gasser with it's fastest time ever! 10.31 at 127.8 mph. It's longest "hang time" ever also!

Even after waiting for .400,and launching real soft so I wouldn’t leave on James’ Buddy too bad and look like a bully,I still had a .100 lead out of the gate.That car makes a TON of power,and pulled ahead from around the 60’ to about the 800-900 foot mark,when I went around him.

True,If James was running the car,he would have cut a much sharper light.
But if James was in the seat,I also wouldn’t have left .400 slow,and like a grandma at 2500rpms...

I know that W motor has lots left in it,but so does my little 289.
I can’t wait for the rematch next year.
I think part II is going to look like an instant replay of part I.....
