Last race I seen of the factory stock cars was a pair of Chevys in the finals.

 

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

 

Brian I can't believe you talk about Jim like that.

 

He bought a cuda and a hemi. Jim is the man. Much deserved respect.

 

I know this is not the forum for this but I don't care. As a few of you may remember my son was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma ( bone cancer) last June. Today he finished his chemo!!!!! I'm so damn proud of him!!!! Woohooo!!!! He had his first round under his belt just before the meltdown drags last year. He insisted I not cancel. Go have fun, I'm good. So we came up. Been a rough road. This guy is a badass!!!!!!!! Thank you for letting me post this.

He has to have corrective surgery on his leg. The prosthetic rod is a Morse taper and slipped when they put it in. So not sure he will be up to 3 days of hangin at the dragstrip. Wish he was coming though.

 

Whoa.As if the chemo wasn’t enough,he gets that as a door prize too.He must be one tough young man.
We’re praying for a speedy recovery for him,and we’ll get lots of video,so he won’t miss much of the action.
We’ll have to put on a hell of a show for him.

Scott I just ask a lot of questions......but it is getting tougher to find people to ask.

Also,while we were on the way south for a vacation a while back,I tricked Mama into swinging by the Holman Moody shop with me.
I explained to her that it was hallowed ground for Ford guys,and that there was more history contained within those walls than we were ever likely to see again,and she kinda gave me the “blah,blah,blah...” look...lol
Turns out,once we were on site,Lee Holman gave us a tour of the facility,and a history lesson about H/M and Ford racing during the 60’s,Mama actually had a great time........And Lee was kind enough to share some tech info from their archive room that may have some of you scratching your heads after getting freight trained on the top end by this lil ol “289” that’s now packin’ some extra H/M rage.
