Well James it's all good I don't expect your tank to outrun my feather I had high hopes to have the willys ready for meltdown to put you on the trailer but my engine machinist has had some serious health problems and he is the only one I trust around here so it's not gonna happen this year

I have to shift this one.
I know it's not a four gear but it is a manual shift auto.....so I guess it's not an auto.

 

But it only has 2 pedals in It lmao

When I had a four gear I didn't use that third peddle much.....just give it a bump and keep the right foot down and grab that comp + handle and have my way with it.

 

There's nothing like a W engine. Very cool......And I thought that I was the only one still running a generator at the strip. LOL.

 

I managed to do a little highway tuning with mine over the weekend. Over 500 miles and 2 stops on the Hot rod power tour. Nothing broke, the boy and I had a lot of fun. Recieved several compliments it was nice to see a real hot rod and not a new car. But man was it hot!

I know of a certain 16 year old girl who runs in the 14's!!!!

 

Got the engine back today we will be good to go. Bumped up compression with new pistons and some new doo-dads under the valve covers otherwise just needed to be freshened.

 

Our return trip to Byron includes the lovely original Evil Twin member Elizabeth Mayree and we are doing a special poster for the event! This was three years ago.....contact me if your interested Rocky

Does anyone know if they will be live streaming the Meltdowns all weekend? We found out my dad has bladder cancer and may have surgery the week of the Meltdowns. He REALLY WOULD like to see his granddaughter race.
