Joel Knievel...or maybe Evel Joelnievel and Kip's 50cc (I believe) pit bike didn't get along so well and it bucked him off.

It should be...600 period correct race cars....over 12,000 spectators...28 hours of racing over 3 days...some of the greatest people you will ever meet...they will literally give you the shirt off their back, parts for your car or even a mini-bike to ride (sorry Joel)...

    Don't miss it!

Come on now I can't afford no trans brake.
Norb the best 60 foot was 1.707 on a 12.33 run. With a .0160 reaction.

James had the ol 409 running good but not as good as my dragster lol (at least on Sunday) all I can say is AJ better look out cause meltdown 2017 is the place to be cause I have a helluva show coming to Byron push starts and wheelstands with a stick shift 100" dragster

Jackson I had a best of your race timing of a 10.26. It's a damn shame we never got paired up because I know it would have been tough to take.

...or the helmet off their head! Honest! Jeff loaned my Uncle Russ his helmet so he could ride along on a 10 second pass!

    Jackson-

I can't wait to see you and AJ run...that should make for a great race.

Not sure if you heard, but AJ has gotten some big time sponsorship for his dragster...hopefully he isn't too big time for you next year.

That was cool, I love when people get to go for a ride...

I think I have more fun giving people passes in my car then I do going solo and trying to get a good time. I love the reaction when you launch...good times.

It all boils down to what yellow light you leave on.
On the BelAir I have to leave when the third light comes on, if I anticipate it coming on I will red light for sure.
It is just figuring out the car and how quick or slow it reacts.
My Charger I have to leave just after the second yellow light if I wait for the third I will be late.

We both are getting better with out pile. She's not a get outta the hole quick. However changes over the winter will make that better. Now just drivers need practice. Lol.

While going through the web looking for photos it came to me that your car is now running times that the original 409's stock class record holders were running when they were new. That ain't all that bad.

I thought I was doing good because my engine was put together with used parts.
The car has run a best of a 12.23 but I am sure that my tires are what is making it run as well or better than back in the days.
