I am trying to tell if that was a bad set of headers or a bad set of corks.

    Salty-

It is really just way too small of adapters (and headers) for the heads I have...

Now she will be able to breathe a little better.

Wait to you see the "after" pics...

It is a mess ain't it.
When it gets its new power plant I will try to clean it up a bet.
Leave it to me to take a simple points ignition and make it so complicated.

Hey Doug I see a ton of problems with your garage setup
    1. No crap all over the place threatening to fall on your junk
    2. No snow and frost creeping under the doors
    3. It's not mine

Got a lil more done on car. New 10AN line ran from Fuel Cell to Fuel Pump. Waiting on new Regulator, to make a new 8AN line from Fuel Pump to the Regulator...
Got the new CVF Aluminum water pump & Aluminum pulleys today & got it all mocked up. Nice stuff & it looks Sweet!
Hope to remount Radiator & get hoses taken care of tomorrow...
I believe I can squeeze headers between frame/steering box & block/heads. Looks to me Headman Fox body 351C headers would slip in. It look better if I could do some fender well headers, either in 1-7/8" or 2" tube...
Machine work on block is done. Hope to start assembly next week!
Whittling away at it slowly... [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

So what your saying is I should be shooting for 10 flat...... I thought I would be safe at 10.50. But that exhaust looked to be a little restricted.

I think she is going to fly.

Maybe you should paint the new motor (fast orange) like a Chevy engine.:D

    It would match the car.

    Rory-

You forget that the car still has the same driver....I wouldn't count on any ET improvement from me.

Just a little FYI for you guys. That paint don't make you go faster.
You need to spend more time under the hood working on your tune up.

Yeah......my garage gained me some room over my previous one. 644342_10201553293531143_1194867688_n.jpg I do have the Heater and Air Cond running 24/7 makes it nice. I need to get the Thames more driver friendly or a new driver that fits.

Sorry Norb, to disappoint you, no ORANGE engine paint!
I prefer the black Engine against that powder coated aluminum tunnel ram! Should really pop!
It should scoot a little better than the 302 that was in there! Thinking it's going to have traction issues now! LOL...

I don't know how much you paid the 10 year old next door to do this for you, but the kid ACED IT! I'm sharing this one on Facebook.., sorry Scott.
PS. Marc's best pass this year was 10.56, mine was 10.53, and I weigh more. The Pipe Smoker went 10.88 with a passenger, the Child went 10.77 with uncle Russ riding shot gone & wearing your helmet, so maybe a little false advertising on your magazine cover.., but damn funny!
