for me this has to be one of the nicest roadster ever - any more pics of it? have read about it a little and dont sound too keen on the running gear but it definitely has the look!!!
First time I've posted any of these on here, hope I get this right... It's all drag stuff, kinda nostalgia. Kinda. Jeff Diehl's Witch Doctor Fiat at Boise, 2005 Nightfire Nationals. Note the busted fuel line spraying nitro all over the windshield... Then there's FEDER in his and his kid's Dart at this year's CHRR... And then my fave bunch, the Birky Bunch, running their first 5 second run. Happy monkeys there were!
here's my un-photoshopped, un-doctored crappy pics taken with my old Canon A1 35mm manual The dual carbs, and both dual carbed hotrods are from the Anatomy of a Hotrod show, the wide white wheel and rear quarter of a coupe was taken at Hotrod Garage in Martinez, Ca., the only color shot i have which was taken from another roll is of a neon sign from a biker bar here in Martinez, Ca., the shot of the hand holding an i-beam axle, the end of the i-beam axle, and the cut roadster windshield frame were all taken at a friends shop- note: the i-beam axle is not a real axle- it's a GIANT hand made i beam axle from steel plate and tubing and it's 10' long! the hand is about a 1' long and it's made entirely from steel tubing pieces which were cut- amazing this guy- the windshield is on a model t roadster on a frame- a project one of 9. lol anyhow thought i'd share with you guys-
you should photoshop in the sunset from Thirdyfivepickup's post.... two great pics......... I should have photoshopped all that strip mall garbage out, then it would have been better looking...
i wish i knew how to post my pics without having to resize them like you guys cause when i resize them, it fucks the pics up so they aren't sharp anymore- i hate it cause the pics are better than what shows here.
Weemark- I don't have any at home. But I have a bunch at work. Alot of outtakes that didn't make the pages. I'll thry to post some tomorrow. Where did you see it?
Better... wow. They look fine to me! I use photobucket. It hosts them and doesn't take up Ryan's bandwidth. It resizes them automatically. Mine were all 2500X1900 and it shrinks them automatically. It does lose some quality, but its about all I know how to do.
thanks man- they just look soooo much better when you can see them larger. you lose alot of detail and in some of the pics the edges aren't sharp at all, they are stepped or look serrated. oh well, that's what i get for using old technology and no photo software...lol
the newest Crushproof car- 174 trim holes, a rusted to hell rear window channel, body damage on both rockers, complete metal re-align, 1 gallon of Blood Red candy, 1 1/2 gallons of Orion silver, 2 1/2 gallons of clear.-simple,clean and classy. shitty light and awaiting a date with the buffer and some 3000 grit. god this thing looks good in the light. I can't wait for you guys to see it in person!
Great stuff you guys. Natas- I can't quit drooling on that shot of the Buick.. dang NRChopshop- Bitchin! Can I play too?
I submited this pic recently , but I have to post it here cause I was so impressed with Hatmans work (and being a photo and wednesday) Thank's again Hatman . Buzz Bomb
dig the thread.here's a little something for scooter lovers in the crowd.I'm sure the hotrodders' will dig some of the features too.put this together from scratch in just 2 months.finished the night before we were all taking off on 600 mile round trip to paso robles.hit the road in the morning with 30 miles on a fresh motor and trans.made the trip without a hitch.man, was an awesome trip!!
Just got back from Daytona and had to take a couple of pics of the truck on the beach. Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic without the electric lines and the house. Clark
Thanks Amado, got a look at that email today and love the shots. Okay, a couple more from me. These are my two favorite so far to date.
