We lost a great man. R.I.P Waukegan Bob

I just got a shocking e-mail:

Hey all,
For any of you who have not yet heard. Waukegan Bob passed away today at noon. He suffered a heart attack. He was Jewish according to his wife so there will be a service on Wed.2-22 at 12:00 and fueneral to follow right after the service. Here are the details:

Four years ago, right after I bought my Ford, "one of those guys" came up to my wife at the time & Me "I had a '56 Fairlane back in the day & blew it up street racing". We've been close friends since. He eventially got a tattoo of a '56 on my arm - even got it re-touched when he has some cancer removed there.
Bob was an incredible man of great character. He beat obesity & was battling skin cancer. A heart attack took him out. He was a friend to everybody who met him.
If anybody can make it, he would love to see hotrods there.

 

So sorry to hear of your loss,.... the ranks are getting thinner guys,...

 

Rest in Peace, Bob.

Reminds us all to appreciate what we have today, as things can be gone tomorrow.
