That's the gal from the "Welderup" TV show, I believe.
Looks like battleship row of '40 Fords....
WHAT CRAZY PART DID YOU SEE AT THE LOCAL CAR SHOW
The front of any hot rod is rather striking. In our So Cal hot rod history, T-bucket roadsters became popular with the two 50s versions from Tommy Ivo and Norm Grabowski. One could not read any magazine or watch TV/hot rod movies without seeing one or the other of what we called, the original T-buckets. Jump up 60 years and there is a new/old look to those T-bucket roadsters.
In taking some photos at a local car show a couple of months ago, I saw this capped up, chrome tube behind the radiator of a well done, T-Bucket. I assumed it was a fluid intake and storage unit in addition to the original radiator. It could have been a radiator overflow container as is built in most modern cars, these days. But, the application was neatly done, looked as if was/is a totally custom part, and puzzled me, as well as other onlookers.
If anyone missed seeing this cool looking T-bucket, it can be found on most Saturdays and Sundays at the local car shows. Those shows range from Donuts in Huntington Beach, to the Outlets in San Clemente, to most of the big, inland car shows. It gets driven all over the So Cal hot rod scene.

The nose of my 5W before the bugs and car wash blew 1/2 the orange paint off the club plaque.
Tried to blow the rest of the orange off so it’s almost all bare metal now. I’ll do a better job painting it this coming winter. Maybe black this time.
***Was going to edit out my inspiration in the corner (aka: my beer fridge), but then I thought nah!!!!
