My car is actually a 1954 (similar to the 53 you mentioned). I've lowered it 3" all the way around, and have an Edmunds dual carb intake for it, also have plans to split the exhaust, and do some other exterior custom touches to it. It's no "hotrod" but will be a nice mild custom cruiser as I keep working on it. It's got the 239 flathead in it, and 3 on the tree.

The blue with red wheels is the original color combination for this car also.

 

@rwrj suggested that I post a copy of this picture here where I used Photoshop to removed some modern cars that were parked on the side of the road in a picture posted by @ClarkH on his build thread of his great car. The modern cars were the only edit and the rear end speaks for it's self ..... Great car!!!
