    Probably not! The "magneto" is probably a distributor. I know distributors are made, these days, to look like a magneto. I know guys use the earlier heads on the later blocks. I think a conversion kit is available to use the later, conventional placed distributor on an earlier flathead.

    Makes sense to me. I remember guys would run them (magnetos) on the street and go through a set of plugs in about a week (sometimes less). Sure looks neat though.
