Need a new water pump for the '77 350 Olds in my '49, am curious, any brand any better than others, how about a flowkooler? Know to get a new, and not rebuilt, just thought I'd ask to see what other folks have used. Thanx in advance for any input.

Make sure you check the timing cover for rust behind the water pump.

Man that's a nice looking Cad. I recently bought a pump, it was so cheap I thought it had to be a rebuilt. Nope, new, made in China. It's working OK but my first thought was a rebuilt original pump may be a better bet.

You can usually get vintage parts at NAPA , I have had very few problems with them...
