Been collecting Munster Mem. for years. A true example of the middle class family of the 60's
Can anyone advise, was the carved panel hearse in the previous picture a Cunningham?
" Life ain't no Disney movie "
Okay Fellow Munster-Hambers !
If you missed this a few months back...listen to Barris explain how the cars came together AND got to the Dragstrip for the "HOT ROD HERMAN" Episode: http://www.legends.thewwbc.net/gpage.html
Jonnie King www.legends.thewwbc.net
To fully appreciate the Munster Coach and Dragula is to have been 5 years old when they were first on tv. I was and I watched it to see the cars.
Yvonne De Carlo in a German car ad
Herman Munster... long lost 5th member of the Village People...
Barris Kustomized that T Bird too.
If you get the chance, watch the movie "Criss Cross" starring Yvonne DeCarlo and Burt Lancaster. It may give you a different view on Yvonne DeCarlo, plus it's a very good movie.
Yvonne DeCarlo was an absolute silencer. It's a shame her character called for soo much makeup.
I didnt know Yvonne was older then Al Lewis. Carolyn Jones was the first person killed in the org house of wax with Vincent Price, also Charles Brontosky went on to be Charles Bronson. same movie
She was also in the movie "The Ten Comandments". She played "Seffria"- Moses' wife after he came out of the dessert from being exiled from Egypt.
One of the rod magazines this month , believe it was Car Kulture Deluxe had a feature on The Munster Koach.
some times sexy, sometimes freaky
That's the way I like it!
Sold! I'll be there by the end of the day to pick it up.
Grandpa's coffin hot rod was pretty cool too. The Munster coach would be a good family / grocery getter car.
Yvonne DeCarlo... is in a whole nother league baby!!!
Hommina hommina hommina hommina....
phoebe munster was the hottest of the 3...
RIPOFF!! The back tyres are bald.
As for Morticia and Lilly? I have to go with Carolyn Jones as Morticia.
I still put down whenever asked 'ideal woman' - Morticia Addams.
Something about her as Morticia that is just ALL right.
I'd never heard of that type pf car so I looked it up. I found a short article on them on Wikipedia. Interesting little cars, actually, though not exactly typical HAMB material.
She was only about 13 years old when the two shows in question came on the air, but imagine how cool it would have been for Herman Munster to be married to this babe:
Red X dude, what babe?
On a semi-related note...I ran into George Barris in the Seattle airport yesterday. I was coming back from SC, and he was on his way home from a car show out here I guess.
She was a hottie for sure...
Wow, lots of back and fourth on this one! Bottom line, this is in my livingroom. Along with other original "Munster's" got to have's.
You guys are not even close. Here is sexy in it's purest form and, what a form!
Separate names with a comma.
