  1. Whippet, yeah, I know, Snohomish. Brain farted there. That's just a suburb of Monroe now anyhow, isn't it?

He's too young to be a legend I suppose, but the HAMB's own Fred Williams knows more about Chevy engines than anybody I've ever come across, and his contributions to the HAMB are certainly legendary.

I had a BUNCH of names going last night, and them my computer does what they do every so often,!@#$%^&*(). Herb Mc Nutt, Clark Marshall, Jim Rockstad, Orville Moe, Jerry Ruth (who almost ran me over at Puyallup with his Ford Pick Up Truck), Hank "the Gentleman" Johnson (who originally owned my FED), Terry Seaholm (who I sold the FED to) "Dixon" a plumber in Spokane (who built my rear motored car), Mike Ferderer ("a legend in his own mind", they used to say that about him), The Kalivodas, father AND son, Nelson brothers (who originally built Kalivodas' first car), Jim Green and driver Mike Miller, Bob and Paula Gage, Mark Hentges (Cause I know him), Tom Willford (who seems to collect every Hydro I've ever had), Herm Petersen, ANYONE from the Handlers Racing Association (including me) who have operated Bremerton Raceway since 1959, the Van Cleaves (they should have just slapped Lori Johns), Dave Wren (banned from Bremerton Raceway for life), the Kost Brothers, and so many other just as important little guy names not many would have heard of. I'm sure I'll remember more, but that's a start. Butch/56sedandelivery.

I have to throw the late Harold Lemay in here too. One of the largest (If Not The Largest) car collections in the world............

Couple of names that I can think of ......................
Ron Johnston finished Party Doll in 1959 and still building. Ray Wilson, Top Ten Customiser in R&C 1962 and from Kent. plus those mentioned including Bob Jasper, Bob Davidson, Bill Ross, Dick Page, Jerry Ruth, Jim Green, Tom Wilford, The Divers, Paul Harper.
Some not mentioned............. Gary Harms, Dennis Audel of the Spokane area, Larry Foss, Denny Olson, Donny Richardson. Could even toss in John Grimm as he's been at it for many years.

Many more but I can't remember that much any more.

I'd like to throw in a few. Tim Divers, Joe Maxwell, Buffalo, and a guy from Olympia, now gone, but he could build anything and make it work, George "Bud" von Torne. Good metal man, chopped, upholstered, painted, built cars and airplanes.
