There's some guy selling what he claims to be a Tucker convertible on ebay. Did this car really exist or is this someone's project custom from the 50s? I've never heard of it before. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars...id=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65:7|39:1|240:1308
There seems to be alot of fabricated history on the car, but from what I read the Tucker experts say no.
An old timer once told me: "buy a Kaiser to surprise her, but buy a Tucker if want to Fu$% her" ...something like that...lol
Pricey yes...But it seems to me that there is a lot of Tucker going on here. Although the asking price is out of this world the project is worth a fair amount of money. How hard is it to find all of the pieces parts on this thing. I understand that some of the stuff ain't rare but I would think that much of it is!!!
love those e-bay ads from some jackass antique car peddler that basically say...We want fity twelve gillion for this, so we're gonna try to BULLSHIT you with a really tedious history lesson that really does'nt have much to do with our junk. I sure learned alot about that crafty TUCKER guy! Now, I wish someone would sell something from that nice KATE BECKENSALE !!
