There’s some new updates. Sold the body and bought a roadster

I wonder if I should start a new thread as it’s not a 26 coupe anymore but a 1918 roadster

Big road trip to go get the other body. A 1400 mile 30 hour round trip including a couple of naps in the back seat of my truck. Now it’s Home and between the two bodies I should be good . There’s actually enough pieces now I probably could build 2 bodies but I’ll concentrate on one for now lol
Now I can start mocking things up frame wise.

I started taking the chassis apart tonight to get ready to shorten it up and suicide the front end. Not much to really show just stuff coming apart lol

    Happy new year
“New” drive line parts, 3 speed and rear end out of a 40,000 mile 57 Chevy have reignited this build. The banjo rear turned out to be model A and the trans mid 30s and not what I wanted to deal with.
I cleaned up and organized the garage today and will be getting on this thing in 2020. IMG_9830.JPG IMG_9813.JPG

A little update. Removed the suspension and got the frame up on some heavy duty saw horses. IMG_0069.JPG IMG_0071.JPG IMG_0079.JPG

I’m so glad I decided to cut all the old suspension mounts off the frame. The welds looked suspect and boy was I right. Most only took seconds to get through. Sketchy doesn’t even describe how bad this was.

Did some more work. Bobbed the front frame horns and put in a tube crossmember for a suicide mount front end IMG_0281.JPG
