I was at a show over Labor Day Weekend and a 39 Packard coupe came in. I was in love at first sight. It had 43000 original miles. It had a few small blemishes and a very solid body. It was for sale for 19K. I'm not a big fan of tail draggers but that is all I could keep seeing when I looked at the car. I was willing to give my Merc for it but the wife nixed that idea. On Labor day I went to another show and this guy who keeps bugging me to buy my Merc showed up and offered me 24K for it. I turned him down do to this car is my wifes baby. Like the old saying goes a happy wife makes for a happy life. I guess I have a case of PW. Anyways I would like to see some photos of tricked out packards if anyone has some photos.
