I am helping a friend assemble a flathead. We have run into a snag searching for piston rings. The engine is out of a 46-48 Ford. Cylinder bore is 3.1875 + .020". The oil control rings measure .1256" thickness. I am not familiar with this dimension having only .156 on the shelf. Can anyone supply info such as a source? Or any help?
    Thanks

When I have a problem with ring availability I call Hastings. They are very helpful and can supply just about any ring combo needed.

Hastings is the go to source for me also but on one occasion did not have 1/8" oil rings and I was able to get them from Deves.
