I once measured the angle of the lean forward on his door chop of a '50 Merc, with the idea of using it when I chop my '48 Coupe. That's the only number of his I have. 15 degrees, if memory serves. I'll have to check for sure. Will that help? I can put in on here, in case you're interested. Along with many others, I consider him the best of the best. Even if he is no longer in the game. My epitaph for him would read: Master of His Craft. I have few regrets. One of them is I didn't get him to chop one for me.
